Athletics Day

Last Thursday we had our Junior School Athletics day. We did sprints and long distance in the morning, then a rotation of jumping and throwing activities in the afternoon. Lots of parents and family came down to watch us. We had a great day. Here are some photos.

 Anna came 2nd in her race! Well done Anna.

 Room One did very well in this race. Charlotte came 1st, Skye 2nd and Sai 3rd. Excellent running girls!

 We have some very fast boys in Room One too! Jake came 1st and Quinn came 2nd.

 Here they are giving their names to our beautiful judges Mrs Bedford and Ms Waterman.

Luka and Matthew ran very fast on the day also with Luka coming in 2nd and Matthew 3rd equal.

Now for the long distance:

 It's a very close race between Jake and Quinn!

 

 Jake came in 1st, Quinn 2nd and Kenta in 3rd. Speedy running boys!

 

We had a great day out in the sun. Well done to everyone in Room One for trying your hardest and having fun!

Measurement

We've been learning about measurement. We lined ourselves up from shortest in Room 1 to the tallest.

We made these cheeky monkeys. They all had arms of a different length. We ordered them from shortest arms, to longest.

Finally! An update!

Well lots and lots has been happening since we last blogged! Here's an update of some things we did last term:

Some children from Banks Ave School came to visit us for the day. We had a very busy day! Here are some photos of us when we had a bit of free time.
